Hey yall. The Spanish queen needs major help. All of you who are on my msn contacts list are aware that I have not been on msn lately. For quite some time now, I have had this Miranda messenger client which I found out can work to connect to the msn yahoo and other messaging services. However, I am having some trouble getting it to work. When I try to sign in, Miranda always tells me that Msn is not connected and asks me if I'm sure it is. I can't go any further from there! Auyda for this poor messageless Mexican? Pleas?

do you have firewalls enabled? for exam zone alarm from zone labs incorporated?
if so, then quit this fire wall by selecting shutdown zonealarm
or if you have zonealarm active and the next time you start miranda, then zone alarm asks you for access this program in to the internet.
press alt p to access the programs dialog box
then browse until you come to the msn and press the applications button on your keyboard.
then press the allow connect button to let msn directly on the internet.
repeat this step also for the miranda client.
and do'nt forget to select the checkbox remember this answer the next time i use this program, then click yes and voila. that's it.
now, move zone alarm to the tray by selecting send to tray
press the alt key and select send to tray.
then zonealarm doing all the connectivity for you, saving you from dangerous viruses.

I'm sorry, I don't have Zone Alarm. The only firewall I have is the Xp one. I have Norton Internet Security for my antivirus. Anything else you can tell me? Thanks for your help.
